MY TESTIMONY IN ENGLISH
My name is Oswald Fetter. I was born & raised in Germany. Thank God for parents who pray for their children. I was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. Do you know that you can go to church every Sunday, be confirmed and take Holy Communion, even be a member of the church and still not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior?
John 3:3
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. (KJV)
God says, “When you seek me with your whole heart, then you will find me”
Well, I did not seek the Lord. Neither was I born again because I wanted things my way. So many years have come and gone. Even though I was an unbeliever, the Lord blessed me with a good job and a wonderful family. Thank God for His love and His mercy. Life without God is empty and without meaning. Only Jesus can satisfy your soul.
In 1972 we found a new church. It is called Melodyland Christian Center. During their worship and praise service, as they were singing one song after another, I observed people with lifted hands, reaching out to God. I took inventory of my own life and I was a big fat nothing. A few years before that I had a dream that I was dying and before my eyes, like on a movie screen, I saw my life. There was not one good thing to say about my life. I saw myself from God’s viewpoint and I awoke in a cold sweat. Thank God it was only a dream. If I had died at that point I would have spent all eternity lost and condemned forever in hell. Thank God for His love and His mercy. The Holy Spirit was showing me my life and convicting me of sin and of righteousness and of judgment.
John 16:8-11
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. (KJV)
Every year in August, Melodyland held a Charismatic clinic. I attended the clinic August 12, 1974. A couple named Hunter conducted the service and the Lord confirmed His word with signs and miracles and wonders. I had back problems for many years. I could not stand for long periods nor sleep on my back. Through the word of knowledge they called out back problems and said come to the front and let God touch you. A few people went to the front but I did not. The pastor said stand up and let God touch you right where you are.
I stood up for a few minutes and guess what, nothing happened. I said to myself, “you have had this problem many years, sit down and stop making a fool of yourself.” Being convinced this was phony business, I sat down. As my bottom touched the seat, I felt so much power going through my body, like electricity. All of a sudden I felt so light, like someone lifted the whole world off my shoulders. I was surrounded with so much love. Remember no one touched me. This all happened where I was seated. Then a lady came and sat between my wife and me. I thought, “the nerve, and why is she disturbing me right now?” The lady spoke to me and said, “God has his hand upon your life. You have just received a healing. Will you go to the front and share what great things God has done?” I said “NO WAY!”. Besides, how does she know that God touched me? I had not even had time to tell my wife. Besides, what is going on in this place anyhow? That day I accepted Jesus
Christ, as my Lord and Savior and I know that I am saved.
Rom 8:16
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: (KJV)
One morning, very early, about two weeks after my healing, the Lord spoke to me out loud, “I am the Lord your God that healed you.” God will always confirm his word and He watches over His word to perform it. When God touched my back, He also touched my spirit. God touched the total man. Praise the Name of the Lord.
There are all kinds of religions in the world but Christianity is not a religion. It is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Christ in you, the hope of glory. These are Scriptures, which will lead you to Christ if you are looking for answers:
John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (KJV)

20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (KJV)
1Jn 5:10-13
10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son.
11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. (KJV)
Follow Jesus closely. Believe everything His word tells you. Praise Him always. If you have never given your life to Him, do it today. He will give you a better life than you can ever imagine. You don’t try to straighten things out first. Come to Him just as you are. He is waiting to welcome you into the family of God. the only requirement is that you recognize that He is your Savior and that you are sorry for your sins.
If the Lord were to call you home right now, do you know for sure that you would go to heaven?
I Jn 5:13
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life...(KJV)
Would you like to know that you have eternal life? Jesus gave His life for us. All He asks is that we give our lives to Him. He changes us. He renews us. We come to Him just as we are and He takes our lives and makes them pleasing to Him. All we need is a willing heart.
Satan tells us we have time. He will tell us that we still have time when we are lying on our death beds.
2 Cor 6:2
2 For He says: "In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you." Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. NKJ)
Jesus is calling you right now.
Heb 3:7-8
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: "Today, if you will hear His voice,
8 Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, in the day of trial in the wilderness, (NKJ)
Are you prepared to meet your God? No one knows the day or the hour of His coming. Are you ready?
When all the things in our lives that seem to be so important, all of a sudden will no longer be important and we will stand before God Almighty, and we will all stand. How will we stand there? Will we stand there being ashamed or will He say, “Well done good and faithful servant?”
If you want to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and personal Savior, then He is calling you to MORE, He has More for you right now.
Let us invite Jesus Christ to come into our hearts right now. Repeat these words from your heart:
Lord Jesus Christ
I am sorry for my sins
I know that you died on the cross for me.
I give you my life. You are my personal Lord and Personal Savior.
I ask you Lord to change me.
make me the person that you want me to be.
I am Yours.

Praise the Lord. You are forgiven. Read the Word of God daily. Spend time in prayer. Just talk to Jesus like you talk to your best friend for He loves you so much. Do not neglect the assembly of the believers. Attend church on a regular basis.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father I thank you that you have heard our prayer and that your Holy Spirit is one with our spirit. Thank you that you have placed your seal of ownership on us until the Day of Redemption when we will see you face to face. Lord God we just thank you for your salvation. We praise your Holy Name.
